Jesse is the Zoology Projects Manager for the Oregon Biodiversity Information Center at Portland State University. He recently completed his PhD at Oregon State University in the Department of Integrative Biology where he focused on community ecology of small mammals and birds. At INR, he is responsible for developing animal species accounts, assigning conservation status ranks, and managing the list of Rare, Threatened, and Endangered species of concern for Oregon. Outside of work, Jesse enjoys birdwatching, traveling, and spending time with his family and friends.
