Eric uses Geographic Information Systems and remote sensing to address issues related to wildlife conservation. He is based in Coarsegold, California, where he provides geospatial support to wildlife researchers as part of the King’s River Fisher Project at the USDA Forest Service’s Pacific Southwest Research Station. He is currently using satellite imagery to map drought-related tree mortality across the Sierra Nevada to help researchers understand its effects on fishers and other mesocarnivores.
