Sue was the Oregon Biodiversity Information Center Botany Data Manager for many years. Sue was responsible for information relating to the rare vascular plants in the state and for the maintenance of the general data system. Sue worked and volunteered with Jean Siddall and the Oregon Rare Plant Project for five years prior to joining the Oregon Natural Heritage Program (now ORBIC) of The Nature Conservancy. She continues to assists ORBIC part-time after her retirement.
