Dan is a GIS Specialist working in collaboration with the U.S. Forest Service Pacific Northwest Research Station and the Oregon Department of Forestry.  His work uses aerial imagery to assess changes in land use and housing density on non-federal land in Oregon and Washington.  He previously worked as a regulatory consultant assisting in National Environmental Policy Act analysis of proposed energy projects throughout the country.
